Thanks :) Français 1: Book page 165 (handed out in class), activity 2 ONLY (Write out a full sentence in French, telling whether you think the given person is/is not the adjective listed. TRANSLATE your sentence. BE CAREFUL to include "agreement" (accord)... making your adjective "agree" with the gender of the person being described. )
If you missed class: Please go to the moodle, to unité 4, to the BOOK PAGES folder, to find page 165. Français 1: Handout in class (10 sentences telling where things are, all in French, and translate:
• use only FRENCH nouns that we have learned • You can make silly sentences like, "The cat is in the computer." • use devant, dans, derrière, sous, sur • Don't forget! Use est for is! or sont for are .... also, use les for plural the EX: Le chat est sous la guitare. BUT Les chats sont sous la guitare. TRANSLATE your 10 sentences. (ISS work: If you are in ISS, additionally, you need to go to the moodle, and into the "NOTES... and BOOK PAGES" folder for unité 4. Find page 145. Do all of the activities on that page, and translate all of them. Also: open and read through pages 164, 165, & 166, and the note sheet called "Agreement Notes filled in"). THEN, do activity 1 on page 164 (translate, too!) and activity 5 on page 166. (NOTE: If you don't understand what to do, you must contact me via phone, email, or moodle message, right away. This is Monday and Tuesday's work, so that's when you need to be doing it. I won't accept, "I didn't get what to do." as an acceptable excuse.) Français 3: Test tomorrow on WHAT / THAT phrases (que, qu', quoi, ce que, ce qu', ce qui, ce dont). You'll have scrambled sections of French sentences into which to insert the correct phrase. Français 4: Français 3: Check the assignment listed for mercredi soir. Français 4: Azim-- I'm attaching a worksheet that will take you about an hour to do. It includes links to 3 or 4 websites that you must visit, and there is a short set of questions for each. The last link is to a travel video online, and you need to watch about the first 16 minutes of it, and answer the questions related to it. Do this AFTER the short readings section mentioned above. I will give you until Monday to have this done, please. We will wait to see the rest of the video until then, so that you have a chance to catch up. (You'll be back in class on Friday, right??) As always, I VERY much appreciate your taking the time to be Mr. Responsible Student by making up the missed 90-minute class!
Français 1: Worksheet handed out in class. NOTE: For each of the prepositions given in #1-5, you will be writing TWO fully-French sentences... one of EACH of the two types in the example. Use ALL FRENCH WORDS. Remember that you are describing the placement of the items that are in the picture.

Français 3: Finish the "What" worksheet, doing the sentences on the back, (#4-10). 2nd Hour: You were right! I did have your worksheets. So, either go to the moodle and find the worksheet in the HOMEWORK folder (you can print it out, or just write the French on separate paper), or, here are the sentences: #4. He said that I couldn't go out. #5. I want to know what you are eating! #6. What did you say? #7. I understand what you are saying, but.... #8. Did he read what I wrote? #9. Here is what I mean.... #10. You said what?!?!? Français 1: Finish through and including #20 on the vocab categorizing worksheet. (If you missed class or do not have the worksheet: Go to the moodle, and to our current unit [Unité 4]. Find the Homework folder. Inside, find the sheet called, "Vocab Gens Categories Activity".
