Français 1: 1) Finish the family-word riddles (don't forget to use ton or ta for your). 2)Take the newest Quizlet list note sheet ("Bleu Leçon 2 people & family words-Chabot"), and, like we did previously, pick any 15, write them out in French, and write what they mean in English next to them (this will just help you start to familiarize yourself with these words). If you were absent today, the two sheets are attached below (notice that there are additional new family words on the back of the family riddles worksheet.) Français 3: If you missed class today: Please check the moodle for a message from me. No specific assigned homework, but always keep studying the vocab with Quizlet. New unit starting now! :)
Français 1: Finish the worsheet about family member names.
Français 3: Test Wednesday (5th hour) and Thursday (2nd hour). Be sure you have your usual notes, binder, etc. as the test is not the only thing we will do in class. Français 4: Tarte aux Poireaux: Re-write every highlighted part into passé composé for "je". If it has a direct object pronoun, place it in the correct spot, and think about PDOP agreement. If it has a direct object noun, also include it, and place it correctly (keep it after the verb). (No translation required, as we already translated the recipe during class.) Français 1:Pick ANY 15 phrases from the Quizlet vocab sheet handed out today in class. Write them down on separate paper, and write what they mean in English. Français 3: Study for the test (taking place on the long day this week). I'm attaching info about the test, below. Français 4:First... If you missed class today, please watch THIS short video about how to make Quiche Lorraine. NEXT: If you missed class today, you missed important new notes about how to re-write a command that has a direct object (like: Ajoutez-le ; mélangez-la; battez-les; versez-y; rajoutez-en), into the passé composé... where should you put the direct object? The answer: before the verbe auxiliaire... then, don't forget that you might have agreement with a PDOP! Ex: Je l'ai ajouté; Je l'ai mélangée; Je les ai battus; J'y ai versé; J'en ai rajouté. (NOTE: No agreement happens when you have y or en). For Everyone: With the help of these new notes, do the following worksheet, re-writing the sentences into the p.c. (using "je"). Make agreement where needed! Then , translate the sentence.
