French 3: First: Download the attached pdf of notes (FR3_notes_world_What_FILLED). Carefully read over the sheet and FILL IN YOUR NOTE SHEETS with the rest of the notes. My sheet looks slightly different than yours, but it's the same information. THEN: Go to our QUIA page (link is at the top of the moodle). SIGN IN (I just re-emailed each of you your log-in information), and do the one activity that is there. If you do not sign in, I will give you a ZERO for today's work, so please be sure that you are logged in. FINALLY: Do Quizlet practice with the medieval vocabulary. Sorry I couldn't be there today.
French 4: FIRST: I have attached the note sheet we almost finished in the last class. Be sure that you have the rest of the notes filled in (Riley needs all of this explained to her, if someone would help her with that, please. Riley, check the homework calendar from Friday, and be sure that is done now that you have the notes, too.) SECOND: On my desk, I think you'll find copies of the note sheet I've attached below, also (FR4_TENSE_EXAMPLES_siClauses). Everyone should take a copy, please. If you don't find it on my desk, just take a look at the uploaded version, below. THIRD: Go to Quia (link at top of moodle). LOG IN (I just re-emailed all of you your log-in info). Do BOTH activities there. FINALLY: Go to this page of my website. Look through several of the hotel websites (using links in the column on the left), being sure that you are on the FRENCH version of the lodging's website. Look for all of the kinds of things that we have been talking about with our new vocabulary (prices, location, images, setting, description, kinds of rooms, amenities, etc.). Get a feel for which hotels you prefer in EACH of these categories: budget hotels (two-star or roughly under or just around 100€/night); hotels with three-stars or more; lodging in a château; and gîtes. We are about to start the first of two projects where you will be finding specific information about lodging options in these four categories. This is your opportunity to start to narrow down which lodging options you might want to use in your project, and become more familiar with the websites, before you start those projects. Sorry that I couldn't be there today.
