THEN-- for EVERYBODY: Write 5 sentences telling where things are in that room, using devant, derrière, sur, sous-- and translate. Start with "Dans ma chambre....", and then you can use phrases like "There is a....", or "I have a...."
FRANÇAIS 3: If you were not in class today-- go to owncloud.psdr3.org... sign in with your moodle sign-in info, and find the PowerPoint file that I have sent you.(Opal and Fatima, check the moodle for a message from me, first.) Download the file (vetements_pics), and save it in a folder for this unit, on your computer and/or on a USB drive. If you are in 2nd hour, finish looking through those pictures and pay attention to the new words, starting with "écharpe en laine".
Then-- if you are in 5th hour: go to my new web page, to the link for SHOPPING ONLINE. Spend about 15 minutes browsing around whichever of the clothing catalogs that you feel like looking at. Write down 10 items (some for men, some for women, some for kids) as they are described in French, then tell the description in English, then give both the EURO and $ price (there is a currency converter link at the top of the list of clothing catalogues.)
FRANÇAIS 4: For everyone: Practice with the QUIZLET on hébergement vocab, for 10-15 minutes, and BRING IN A PARENT-SIGNED NOTE verifying (this is not extra credit... this is required... no note = 0 ).
If you missed class today (Anise): Go to the HOMEWORK folder for this unit on the moodle. Find and open the "chateaux PPT questions filled in" file. Then, on your OWN question sheet (that you have already started in class), fill in the information ONLY for #1- 13, and both of the #16 questions (some of this you already have); THEN, be sure that LANGEAIS is added into your Medieval Châteaux list (#17), and that for #18, you add ONLY Fontainebleau, Chambord and Chenonceau to start your list of Renaissance châteaux. (This is due Tuesday, too, and needs to have been filled in on YOUR own sheet -- not just printed out--, for the 10 points.)
