Attention!
Daniela, Olivia, Scarleth (and anyone missing class on Monday): Please do your assignment digitally (Word doc), and upload it onto the moodle BEFORE Monday's class period. I've created a spot on the moodle for this purpose. ALSO!: Please note that I have placed MONDAY's classwork already on the moodle, so that you may have time to work on it this weekend. Explanation, document, and instructions are there.
Fatima and Azim: Since you missed class today, please do these two things:
1-- Finish the 27-sentence passé composé worksheet we started in class
2-- Go to this blog post about how to make Gratin Dauphinois (and read it) , and answer these questions:
a. What benefit is there to not rinsing the potato slices?
b. How thick should the slices be?
c. What four spices/herbs do you add for flavor?
d. What do you do with the garlic?
e. Where does any dauphinois(e) recipe come from?
f. How many layers of potato slices does Ken do?
g. What liquids can you use for this recipe?
h. Where does he begin the cooking?
