Français 3: Finish the two-sided worksheet, all activities.
Français 4: Practice a minimum of 15 more minutes with QUIZLET, for the verbs AND carefully translate the rest of the "F" word sentences.
Français 1: Book page 220 (2nd page of stapled packet), Activité 5 at the bottom. For each of the items listed, you write the question to ask, "Do you play _____ ?", just as it is shown in the example. Then, you answer either oui or non (just mix it up and do some of each), "I play ________". Of course, you're doing one of these Q&A sets for each item listed. Big thing here: be sure you're using the right word after jouer (au? du? à la? de la? etc.) TRANSLATE both the question and the answer each time.
Français 3: Finish the two-sided worksheet, all activities. Français 4: Practice a minimum of 15 more minutes with QUIZLET, for the verbs AND carefully translate the rest of the "F" word sentences. Français 1: Front side of both worksheets handed out today. IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY and/or WEDNESDAY (Tressa!): Please go to the folder on the moodle that has book pages and homework, and download these items: book page 199 (about directions); book page 202 (plan [=map] de Villeneuve); directioins w/Villeneuve wksht; loin_presWksht. Read all of the notes on p. 199 about how to ask for and give directions, and tell whether things are nearby or far. Then, use that page as a reference sheet, as you do the two worksheets (just the FRONT SIDE of each of those two worksheets). For the "directions..." worksheet, you're using the map (=plan) of Villeneuve that is on page 202 that you also downloaded.
Français 3: Handout of book page 378 --- activity 10 on the back, AND TRANSLATE. Français 4: Quizlet practice with Subjunctive --- link on the moodle. I won't see you until Wednesday... please get in 30 minutes of practice SPREAD OUT over Saturday through Tuesday night. Believe me, you need to get this practice. The usual verification is required. (Have those present tense tutorials AND the Subjunctive formation note sheets out while you work! Consult them!) For those who missed Friday: You'll need to get notes from me, too. For Stacy (because you missed Wednesday, too): BEFORE doing the Quizlet, you need to go into the "Subjunctive" moodle folder that has NOTES in it... keep clicking until you get to the TENSES folder... and download the TWO present tense tutorials (part 1 and part 2). You MUST have THESE out to consult while you practice this new verb formation VERSUS the old way we conjugated present tense (the Indicative). You will be practicing both formations together! When you do the Quizlet activity... you MUST do the LEARN game only, and you MUST select "see English first". Before you begin, look through the list you'll have on the Quizlet activity, to note what you'll be expected to write. You'll be seeing what is on the LEFT side of the list. NOTE that, when you write the subjunctive form, you'll be writing the word "que" first.... I'll explain why when you get back. You need to do a total of 45 minutes before Wednesday, please, because you missed a class day when we practiced. ALSO, STACY: I can't stay Monday after school. Please plan to stay TUESDAY after school to take your test. Thanks. Can't be helped. P.S. -- We have a crazy schedule for EOC weeks, starting Monday. You can find the schedule from a link on the opening page of my website. Français 1: TEST Friday on all of the places, and whether to put au, à l, à l', or aux with them. For example, in the first image, I see stripes, I see a tight-fitting/straight skirt, I think things are made of wool or cotton, I see light blue and dark blue.... if I see these things, you should be describing them! Tell the fabric/substance and pattern, etc.! Be sure to give her UNDIES (bra and undies!) for the first two pictures, too! Make up the color and fabric! .... AND TRANSLATE EVERYTHING YOU WRITE!
