Français 4:
Français 3: Pick any 10 vocab words (total) from among the words on BOTH vocab packets. List them in French, tell their translation in English, and then (in English) give some kind of crossword-type clue, or description of use or what it looks like. (NOTE: Do not use cognates or words you feel like you've learned already. Pick 10 that are the most challenging for you.
Français 4: Français 3: While nothing is required, you should be continually practicing with both Quizlets for the "Là où on vit!" vocabulary sets, and the one practicing 6 special p.c. être verbs.
Français 4: Online practice: Go to our QUIA page for French 4 (link at top of moodle), and do the second activity (POP UPS: Recettes: Les Verbes ) -- or click here to go directly there. For this assignment's credit, please take a screen shot of your final score page. NOTE! If you have more than three questions wrong, please re-do the activity until you have a better score, and show me THAT screenshot (of the new, better score). Français 3: Focused practice on returned A THING vs turned over something:
• Think of 8 things a person might give back or return somewhere -- Use 4 with J'ai rendu --Use 4 with Elle a rendu Finish off in English, to clearly establish context (to clearly explain WHY she returned the thing), AND, translate the French: EX: J'ai rendu the plaid coat because it was kind of ugly. (I returned) • Think of 8 things a person might turn over for some reason -- Use 4 with J'ai retourné -- Use 4 with Elle a retourné Finish off in English, to clearly establish context (to clearly explain WHY she turned over that thing), AND translate into French: EX: J'ai retourné the test when I was finished, so no one could cheat off of me! (I turned over) Français 4: Pour la prochaine (=next) recette-- Flans aux oeufs et à l'Orange: Part of this is on separate paper, and part of it is on the recipe itself: • On the recipe itself: -- Find the command verbs & highlight them -- Find present participles & highlight them in a different color -- Find the past participle adjectives & highlight them in a third color (or circle them) THEN: On SEPARATE PAPER: -- write out the command verbs you found, and translate them -- write out the present participles you found, and translate them -- write out the past participle adjectives you found, and translate them ALSO (on that separate paper): Write out the quantities of the ingredients, in FRENCH, and then with their American measurement equivalent. Français 3: Be sure to finish filling in the 36 squares of your LOTO board. Remember! 10 of those must be examples with the verb passer.
Français 4: Go to this folder in Quizlet. Spend at least 10 minutes on each of the first two activities, and make a self video to show me your practice. These practice the verbs and expressions in your Verb packet. Français 3: 2nd Hr: You have that worksheet to finish. 3rd Hour (and 2nd Hour, too): It would be smart to do some QUIZLET practicing with the Vocab-- I'll give you an homework assignment grade if you do at least a total of 15 minutes (bring in a parent-signed note that they saw you doing it, or you can use Quicktime to do a self-video of the screen, and show me on Monday). Français 4: Avec la même recette que vous avez utilisée hier soir (La Pâte à Choux), AJOUTEZ ces deux choses: • les participes présents (find and list and translate any examples you find, including the en if it's there). Français 3: Pick any 10 of the vocab words from the first slideshow handout (starts with "en ville"). List them in French, translate, and then give (in English) a description related to how or when or why they are used, or what they look like (not just "feminine French word" --Ha!). Be sure to include an article for gender (un, une, le, la)

Français 4: Travaillez avec les Quizlets pour les articles de cuisine, que vous trouverez liés (=linked) depuis le moodle. Travaillez pendant 12 à 15 minutes. Il faut faire (=you have to make/do) une self video! Français 3: Pas de devoir! Although, Quizlet time with the 6-special être verbs, is always a good idea!
