Français 4: History & culture facts test Wednesday! Français 3: Go to this Quizlet folder, please, and make a screen video* of yourself practicing any of the bottom THREE Quizlets. * Include the full screen, including the top bar with your clock time in it. Français 4: History & culture of the Renaissance and the Val de Loire test on Wednesday. Use the Quizlet and Quia for studying. EVERYONE: Attached below, you'll find the EOC weeks schedule.
Français 3: Both classes: Do numbers 5, 6, 7, & 8 ....2nd Hour! I made a mistake! I assigned numbers 1-4 for homework, but I didn't remember that I had already used those on the note sheet. Instead, do numbers 5, 6, 7, & 8 (translate the question into English, write a French answer, translate the French answer into English).
Wednesday's 3rd Hour class: Finish filling out those LOTO boards. Français 3: Do questions 1 & 3 on the new page of notes we did today, following the directions.
Français 4: See last week's last post about things all being due tomorrow. Aeeda, I have sent you an email. PRESENTATIONS HAPPEN THURSDAY! Français 3: Pas de devoirs. Nous avons passé l'heure à regarder des images de la cathédrale de Notre Dame à Paris, après son incendie d'hier soir.
Français 4: Travaillez, travaillez, travaillez sur vos projets. Everyone should be finished with all writing and preps by Tuesday's class, le 23 avril. We will begin presentations on Thursday, le 25, but you need a MINIMUM of two days of practice presenting. Tuesday, I will be checking that all scripts are written, and slide shows finished. You will actually spend Tuesday's class presenting, reading aloud, in various corners of the room, then entry hall, and room H114. Français 3: Repeat Friday's vocabulary assignment, but use 8 NEW words that we learned today.
Français 4: Continue working diligently on your project. NEWS: The Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris has been on fire for hours, and the entire wooden inner structure, the entire wooden roof, the center spire, all have been lost to the blaze, which is completely out of control. All of the wood is 13th century wood. Français 3: Pick any 8 of the new vocab words we learned today. Write them three times in French, and then, each time, write a description or hint clearly meant just for that item, in English, for each time you wrote the word (so, three hints).
EX: une couronne: queen wears it on her head une couronne: king wears it on his head une couronne: round, made of gold and jewels, sits on the head of royalty Français 4: Aeeda and Kinzi, I have emailed you at your PSDR3 email, and given you a link to follow. Everyone should know, by Monday's class, which castles, cathedrals, and lodging they will use for their project. I will explain further on Monday, but I do not want you to do Google image searches for your castles and cathedrales. I want you to work from links that I have provided on this web page. Français 3: 3rd Hour ONLY: If you missed class today, please do this new Quizlet for practicing future tense conjugation. Do whatever activities you feel like, for about 15 minutes. Please do a screen video to show me, for your points. YOU ARE MISSING THE LAST 45 Minutes or so of the movie! You need to either stay after school with me, today, preferably, to watch it, or watch this not-very-good quality Youtube video (be prepared to describe lots of things that happened in the movie, in the section that you saw). The last thing we saw, was when Monsieur Batignole and the kids had just arrived at the farm.
Français 3: Pas de devoir.
Français 4: Do this Quizlet for history facts-- 10 minutes minimum, show me video Français 3: Using your new list of stems for the future simple for irregular verbs, pick any 8, and use them like this:
• conjugate them in the new futur simple tense, varying the subjects (sometimes je, then tu, then il, then nous, then ils, etc.) • after the subject and verb in French, finish the short sentence in English (or more French, if you want!), to make sense with the meaning of the verb in the future • in parentheses, translate the French part • highlight or underline the French part, or write it in a different color EX: Il sera a teacher one day. (He will be) Français 4: Vocab test tomorrow (mardi, le 9 avril): Hébergement et Tourisme (from French, you give English). A & A, projects due tomorrow. |
