Français 1: If you missed class today: I have attached, below, the note page (page 200 from the book) with words for rooms in a house. Then, there is a 2-sided activity for things to do in various rooms. THEN: there is another activity for practicing -ir verbs some more. Everything is due Monday. (If you were in class, obviously, just be sure that all of this is done.) Français 3: 5th Hour: You have that worksheet to finish.
Français 3: 2nd Hour: I don't see you again until Tuesday! 1) Be sure that the 2-sided worksheet we did in class, is finished. 2) Worksheet given out in class (clothing vocab with Which one? and The one... ); 3) On THREE different days, spend at least 10-15 minutes on the online activities for clothing, that are in the folder (one activity per day). I need verification of WHICH activity was done, on what day, with signature.
Français 4: I don't see you again until Tuesday! 1) Finish the worksheet I handed out in class (the one practicing subjunctive or infinitive with emotions-- also already given to those away at camp); 2) [NEW FOR SAVANNAH AND KEVIN:] On THREE different days, spend at least 10-15 minutes on these specific online activities (one activity per day): this one; then this one; and also this one . I need verification of WHICH activity was done, on what day, with signature (for the QUIA one, you should just log in). (These are the last three activities linked to on the moodle, and each is new to you.) Français 1: Finish the 13 conjugated sets of -ir verbs, AND do the Crossword puzzle I handed out today (it's attached below, for those who are absent). NOTE: For numbers 5 & 10 Down, use the INFINITIVE form of the verb that works. If you missed the test today: You will be expected to take the test AFTER SCHOOL or DURING AN AC LAB as soon as you come back-- you will not be able to miss our class period to take the test. Français 3: Practice on Quizlet with the 5 sets of Quizlets for clothing, materials, and describing clothing (bring usual verification). If you missed the test today: As usual, you will be expected to take the test AFTER SCHOOL or DURING AN AC LAB as soon as you come back-- you will not be able to miss our class period to take the test. Français 4: Please work on this NEW subjunctive Quizlet, with the usual verification required (those of you who are absent must do this, too -- at least 10-15 minutes, and there will be other nights when this will be required. You will need verification for each one.

I am attaching below, as well. HOMEWORK: If you WILL be in class tomorrow, then tonight's homework is 10-15 minutes more practice with Quizlet (subjunctive formation vs. indicative). If you WILL NOT be in class tomorrow, then finish those two worksheets (fill in blanks AND translate). Check back on the calendar to assure that you don't have an additional assignmnent.

• know all of the PLACES (les endroits) if you see them in French • Know what phrase for "to the" is used for each one (MEMORIZE TO PRODUCE on your own!) [au vs à la, etc.] • know all of the terms for the verb ALLER -- Je vais, tu vas, etc. (Word bank for this, but it will have many extra words in it). Français 3: 2nd Hour: Directions for sentences, handed out in class. 5th Hour: Spend time on THIS Quia, and on one of the two Quizlets here: this one OR this one. Bring in verification. TEST WEDNESDAY on Trouble words depuis, pendant, il y a, puisque, pour • One page full of French sentences, you will translate into English • One page with sentences with blanks, and you will provide the correct word for since or for or from in the blank... AND the correct tense of the verb. Français 4: Another required QUIZLET practice session (formation of Subjunctive), verification required. (I will also be checking your notes from this weekend, that were due today.) Français 1: Finish both sides of the new worksheet on -ir verbs (and be sure that all of your DIRECTIONS activities are done from the worksheet we started in class the other day. Raychel W: I sent work to the office for you! Français 3: (2nd & 5th Hours): Worksheet handed out in class. You don't have to translate the top part (but DO THINK about what it means). DO translate the numbered sentences and questions at the bottom. (WORKSHEET IS ATTACHED, BELOW) Français 4: NEW NOTE FOR ALL! Your iMovies did NOT save on my computer. I watched some or all of each of them, but need to see them again. Savannah's is the only one that saved on my computer. PLEASE UPLOAD THEM ONTO YOUR GOOGLE DRIVE THIS WEEKEND and share with me. FOR EVERYONE (Including those not in class on Thursday): Please do two SEPARATE 10-minute sessions (on two DIFFERENT days), of the Quizlet practice with the formation of the indicative vs. the subjunctive (it's the one we've been using). The usual verification is required. (Those of you who were absent, of course, you also have the sentences sheet I gave you, that I referred to in the post for mardi soir .)
Français 1: Directions worksheet.... you can pick any 5 from the front (other than the one we did together), and any 5 from the back (1st hour, you can limit it to this many, instead of doing all of them). Remember, you have tonight, Wednesday night, and Thursday night, so spread out the work. NOTE: I filled in an example for the first one, on the worksheet attached below! If you missed class today: Attached, below, are: 1-- page 199 (notes for how to give directions); 2-- "Plan de ville" (map of the town you'll use for the worksheet); 3-- The worksheet. Français 3: 5th Hour: 10-15 minutes with Quizlet for the clothing vocab (usual verification required). 2nd Hour: Please do this assignment even though I didn't have time to tell you to! Français 4: If you WILL be in class Thursday: Finish the one worksheet of sample sentences AND do 10-15 minutes of practice again with Quizlet for verbs in subjunctive (usual verification required). If you WILL BE ABSENT on Thursday: Do above assignments, PLUS translate the sentences on the other worksheet.
Français 1: Please go to the QUIA activity that we did in class today. Pick ANY 20 of the sentences. Write them out (in French), INCLUDING what your choice for the blank was. TRANSLATE them into English.
Français 3: Please go to THIS Quia activity about using pendant, depuis, il y a, puisque. Pick any TEN of the examples, and write out the French sentence (including the word you chose for the blank spot). Also write the translation (even if it's already given). Français 4: Please go to THIS Quizlet activity, and copy down any 20 flash cards with verbs (so, not the ones that just give you a subject pronoun [like, "je"] and ask for a terminaison), and translate.... this way: EX: to go (elle): elle va (she goes/is going) ; qu'elle aille (that she goes). Be sure to include que or qu' with the subjunctive) Français 1: If you missed class today: Please go to the moodle. Find the folder for Unité 5 called, Notes/ Homework / Book Pages Unit 5. Find the folder in there, called, April 12 2017. In there, is a note sheet, and an assignment. Please do the assignment! (If you started this in class, be sure it is finished to be turned in on Monday).

Here are a few words you might need to know (or be reminded of ): le début = the start / the beginning ; le four = the oven ; boire = to drink; ne... jamais = never Français 3: If you are going to be missing class tomorrow (Wednesday the 12th), here is the worksheet that we will work on (attached below). These sentences mix up uses of depuis. You may recognize some of the sentences, and others will be new. Translate them carefully. Do NOT use a translator or you will totally miss the needed thinking that leads to actual learning. Français 4: See Monday's post regarding this week's deadlines and test.
