Français 4: If you missed French 4 today, we already did have a full-class lesson that I need you to do. Please go to the moodle for our class. In our first new unit, on Romanesque and Gothic cathedrals, you will find a folder called, "Cathedrals: Discovery Activity Documents". Go in there and download all four documents (they do not necessarily have to be printed -- definitely not the "images" documents, but you will need to write out information for the questions asked on the "Cathedrals Discovery Gothic.doc" and "Cathedrals Discovery Romanesque.doc" Word documents). We are learning about two styles of medieval Catholic cathedrals in France: Romanesque and Gothic. There are two documents (Images part one & Images part 2) to look at for examples. Based on those examples (G=Gothic, R=Romanesque), look at the questions on each sheet (basically the same questions on each sheet, but one page is about Romanesque, and one is about Gothic), and answer them. This is just our first activity, for you all to try to "discover" on your own, the different elements of each of the styles, based on what I direct you to look for. Just observe, and answer!
