I. With your new notes handy (about celui, etc.) you need to do this QUIZLET activity. Do several games of SCATTER, then two games of LEARN... being sure that you have selected "from English", so that you have to think of the right way to express the French. This activity practices the concept of expressing, "somebody's ____", which, in French, is "the one OF [Bob... or whoever]" You express "the one" based on the gender of the item (not the person!), and whether it is singular or plural. So... for "la chemese" that belongs to Doug, you'd says, "celle de Doug", because "celle" is feminine and singular, and so is chemise.
2. With your 3 clothing vocab sheets, practice with each of the three QUIZLETS we've been using for those sheets. They are the last three, in the set you find in THIS FOLDER on Quizlet.
3. Finish the back of the worksheet that you had due today (sample French sentences using clothing and celui (etc.).
4. Write 10 Franglais future tense sentences. Each should include one of the phrases that gives a future time frame (like "in two years", "next month", etc. --- vary them!). Your subject and verb (vary them! don't repeat verbs! choose from the irregular verbs on our new list!) must be in French (underlined, and translated in parentheses at the end), but you can add English at the end.
EX: Dans deux mois, j'irai à Paris to see the new exhibit at the Louvre. (In 2 months, I will go...)
Français 3 (2nd Hour --if you were in class, not in ISS): See the directions from mercredi soir, that were for the 5th hour class.
Français 4: Finish translating the "f words" worksheet.
