Français 3: EVERYONE: Another 10 franglais sentences with the vocab, but, this time, use the NEWEST vocab we have learned (probably most are on the right side of the sheet). As last time, most of your sentence can be in English (though extra French for practice might get you extra credit!)... but, your target word must be in French (NOTE: if it's a noun, be sure its article [a, the, my, etc.] is in French; if it's a verb, make sure you CONJUGATE IT!). Also, translate the "target" French word, in parentheses, at the end. Be sure that your sentence has enough in it to clearly show what the word means (Don't just say, "I have une couronne." Say, "I have une couronne on my head because I'm the queen!") IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY: Do activity 8 on the same worksheet you had assigned Friday. Follow the directions carefully, that are on the back of the sheet. Compare the directions to the example given. The first verb will be in present tense, the second verb will be in passé composé. Here are a few key words, and how you'll translate them in passé composé:
rencontrer=ran into
retrouver= met up with
louer = rented
commander= ordered
Français 4: 15 minutes of Quizlet practice (total), but stretched over both Quizlet activities. As usual, show me a NEW self-video of you doing it (remember, this is for YOU .... you will soon be tested on this material... this is a fast unit).
